ILLNESS & MEDICATION

Keep us in the loop.

Please let the teacher or office know about illness, allergies, medical concerns or any absence. If your child becomes unwell at school, we’ll call you straight away, and they’ll rest in the sick room until they’re collected.

  • No medication may be sent in school bags
  • Learners may not take medication themselves
  • Multivitamins count as medication
  • Primary learners need a sick note after an absence

Regular attendance plays an important part in your child’s progress. Thank you for helping us keep the school healthy.

LUNCH & NUTRITION

Pack for a full, focused day.

Sandwiches, fruit, cheese, yoghurt, nuts, raisins and juice are all great choices. Pack a little more in winter, or if your child leaves home early.

Not allowed

Fizzy drinks

Best kept to a minimum

Crisps, sweets, cakes and very sugary snacks

SUN PROTECTION

Caps on outside.

South Africa’s sunshine means plenty of outdoor play. All learners wear their school cap whenever they’re playing or learning outdoors.
